Think decadent for your ensemble. Dress opulently … to the 9’s … Over the top … Dramatic … Romantic. Go Elizabethan, Steam Punk, even Modern. Mix some of these fashion styles & periods, or create a modern take on them. Layer your look. Integrate elements like metallics, embroidery, ruffles, lace, organza, velvet, feathers, flowers, head pieces, bustling or flowing dresses, collared shirts, coats, jackets, hats, gloves. Wear lush, rich colors and patterns. Use gawdy or ornate accessories. NOTE: dressing up is not required, but it’s so much fun. And it will make for a great guest portrait! Check MCAC’s social media pages for more fun attire inspiration before the party. (Facebook & Instagram: @magiccityartconnection)
A self check coat area for partygoers will be available.
