Hope this finds you safe and well.

We have been navigating the evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis, acutely aware of the impact this is having on people and businesses all over the world. The hospitality industry has been especially hit hard, including restaurants, cocktail bars, breweries, wineries, and more. Our thoughts are with everyone affected. We hope everyone will continue to do what they can to help support our local taste landscape during this unprecedented time. Follow our C&C Instagram for connections to curbside pick up & deliveries being offered by C&C participants and others. #supportlocal

Having said that, in light of global health concerns and following advice and restrictions from local, national, international and health authorities, it is with great regret that we are canceling the April 25 & 26, 2020 dates for Corks & Chef: A Taste of Birmingham in order to protect the health, safety and well-being of the community, our patrons, C&C participants, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, and employees.

Thank you for your past and continued support of C&C. For 23 years in conjunction with contemporary art festival, C&C has strived to highlight the diverse and growing taste landscape of this great city we call home. We will continue to do so moving forward.

PLEASE NOTE: Join us in April 2021 for a redo of C&C cancelled 23rd year. If an opportunity presents itself for a C&C remake in 2020, we will let everyone know.

With warmest regards from everyone at C&C and MCAC.

Special Thanks!
Five Loaves / Urban Avenues for providing a great team of culinary-driven student volunteers to help make the Corks & Chefs experience seamless. Five Loaves is an Urban Avenues venture designed to unite disconnected communities by inspiring people through food. This team of young adults is passionate about expanding their perspective and forming bonds with their Birmingham neighbors they may not ordinarily meet. Together, they learn valuable culinary and leadership techniques that equip them for success hosting community-bridging events and beyond.
